Glengettie Tea
Glengettie is a blend of tea aimed at Welsh consumers. It was first marketed in 1952.

It is much loved by British people living overseas and is widely available on the Internet.

Glengettie is usually supplied in bags which are packaged in a deceptively ordinary-looking brown box. Upon inspection, however, the packaging is unusual in that it is bilingual English/Welsh: opposite sides of the box contain equivalent text in each language.

Your choice of Welsh Broadcasters has betrayed the fact that the list was compiled by a somewhat wet behind the ears
and negecltful nine-year old. We see so much of this in journalism today. Journos that are too young to remember the true event make up what THEY think happened - simply doing the cause of history and truth no favours at all. Where is Sian Williams, Sian Lloyd, Sara Edwards, Vaughan Hughes, Vincent Kane, John Humphreys, Bob Humphreys, Arfon Haines-Davies, Ruth Wignall, Menna Richards, Geraint Vincent, Wyre Griffiths et al? Or does your nine year old and very junior "P.R. Executive" only watch TV from England. Perhaps he/she lives in Reading anyway? I wonder which Primary School Class was given this as a project - and is this the best that they could have done? Pack it in mates. If you're thinking you are doing Wales a service with your incomplete drivel, think again. I would advise you to remain anonymous - at least in Wales.
