The Vale of Glamorgan Line is a railway line in South Wales from Cardiff to Bridgend via Barry, Rhoose and Llantwit Major. There are also branch lines to Penarth and Barry Island. As its names suggests, the line runs through the Vale of Glamorgan.

The section of line between  Barry and Bridgend reopened for passenger services on 12 June 2005 the first day of that year's Summer timetable, when Arriva Trains Wales ran a number of loco-hauled special services in conjunction with the Barry (waterfront) transport festival. The official opening was performed by Andrew Davies AM, Welsh Assembly Government Minister for Economic Development and Transport, on 10 June 2005. Passenger trains had originally been cut on this route in 1964 as part of the Beeching cuts but it had in the meantime served as a diversionary route for the South Wales mainline. There is also a connection with the heritage operation of the Vale of Glamorgan Railway Centre at Barry Island.

The line is currently operated by Arriva Trains Wales (ATW) as part of the Valley Lines network. ATW replaced the previous franchise, Wales & Borders Trains in December 2003.
