"A few years ago at the Llangollen Eisteddfod (one of the highlights of my year) the Chairman read a poem to the audience - the name of which and the author of which are unknown to me. The only thing that I can tell you is that it was from a young man to his sweetheart and said for you I would climb Cader Idris etc. It goes on to list all the things the young man would do for his sweetheart - and ends with "See you on Saturday, if it isn't raining".
I have tried ever since to get a copy of the poem to give to my husband - but have been unable to trace it.
If you know of it - or can give me a title or an author - or even point me in the right direction - I should be forever grateful to you."
